8th Meeting of the National Network for Open Administration

Keeping the regularity of its collaborative work, the National Open Administration Network held, on February 21, 2020, its VIII Meeting. Representatives of AMA - Administrative Modernization Agency, the Government Area of the Presidency, the National Association of Young Entrepreneurs, the Tax Authority, the Platform of Civil Society Associations - Casa da Cidadania, the Ombudsman and Transparency and Integrity - Portugal were present. The meeting was also attended by members of the Office of the Minister for Modernization of the State and Public Administration and the Office of the Secretary of State for Innovation and Administrative Modernization.

 

 

This meeting bet on the adoption of a collaborative model to enhance the participation of members and to intensify the dialogue. For the first time, a remote participation channel was opened, allowing participants to contribute to the meeting, overcoming their inability to be physically present. In addition to the usual assessment of the current situation regarding the progress of the ongoing commitments since the VII Meeting, namely Commitment # 3 and Commitment # 7, activities were also carried out that invited proactive collaboration and participation by all members present, digital or in person. After these latest developments, the implementation rate for the 1st Action Plan is 57%.

 

Thus, with the contribution of all, within the scope of, the co-creation of activity proposals for the Open Gov Week 2020 took place.

This was followed by a collective reflection on the composition of the Network, based on a stakeholder mapping of the entities which are relevant to the Network's mission.

Finally, the members of the Network present made their first contributions to define the development and co-creation strategy of the II Action Plan, based on the recommendations of the Independent Reporting Mechanism (IRM) and the experience accumulated during the co-creation and consultation process applied to the I Action Plan.
