Open Administration Week: March 11-17, 2019

The National Network for Open Administration will promote, between March 11-17, 2019, the Open Administration Week, thus implementing one of the Commitments inscribed in the first National Action Plan for Open Administration. This initiative is aligned with the OpenGovWeek upheld internationally by the Open Government Partnership (OGP), with the aim of sharing ideas and experiences on the subject of open administration as well as discussing solutions to make governments more transparent and empower citizens.

In this context, the National Network for Open Administration will hold the following events (listing permanently updated):

• March 12, 17h-19h, Porto: WE'BIZ TALK - What the SME and startups need to succeed in open data innovation - organized by National Association of Young Entrepreneurs (ANJE), in partnership with the Administrative Modernization Agency (AMA), this debate will join representatives from the private and public sector to explore the new business opportunities presented by open data.

• March 13, 09h30-13h, Lisbon: Open Administration Workshop - A challenge for the State and Society - organized by the Platform of Civil Society Associations – House of Citizenship (PASC), in partnership with AMA and the Association for the Promotion and Development of the Information Society (APDSI), this workshop aims to foster the debate between the public sector and civil society through five thematic roundtables - Transparency/Open Data; Accountability; Public Participation; Digital inclusion; and Citizen-centred Governance.

• March 15, 16h30-19h30, Lisbon: Open debate – presentation and discussion of the conclusions of the Open Administration Workshop - A challenge for the State and Society - organized by PASC, in partnership with the Army Pupils Association and APDSI.
